Privacy Policy
Last updated: 13 August 2026
Ukina Health (“Ukina”, “we”, “us”, “our”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit ukinahealth.com or buy from us, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
Information we collect
We collect information you give us directly, and some information automatically when you use our site.
Information you give us: your name, email address, shipping and billing address, phone number, and order details when you make a purchase or start a subscription. If you contact us, we keep a record of that correspondence. If you sign up to our email list or enter a promotion, we collect the details you submit.
Payment information: card payments are processed by our payment providers. We do not see or store your full card number.
Information collected automatically: your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring site, and similar analytics data, collected through cookies and comparable technologies.
Health-related information: we do not ask you to submit health information to buy our products. If you volunteer health details when contacting us, for example in a question about ingredients, we treat that as sensitive information and use it only to answer you.
How we use your information
We use personal information to process and ship your orders, manage subscriptions and recurring billing, respond to your enquiries, send order and delivery updates, and administer refunds or returns.
With your consent, we send marketing emails about products, offers and education content. You can withdraw that consent at any time using the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, or by contacting us.
We also use aggregated and analytics data to understand how the site is used, improve the site and our products, measure advertising, and protect against fraud and misuse. We may use your information where we are required to by law.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information.
We share personal information with service providers who perform functions on our behalf, and only so far as they need it to perform them. These include our ecommerce and hosting platforms, payment processors, shipping and fulfilment partners, email and marketing platforms, review platforms, and analytics and advertising providers.
We may also disclose personal information where required by law, to enforce our terms, to protect the rights or safety of any person, or in connection with a sale or restructure of our business.
Cookies and tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep your cart working, remember your preferences, measure site performance, and support advertising. You can control or block cookies through your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may stop parts of the site working properly.
Overseas disclosure
Some of our service providers store or process data outside Australia, including in the United States and the European Union. Where we disclose personal information overseas, we take reasonable steps to ensure the recipient handles it consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles.
Data security
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss, unauthorised access, modification and disclosure, including encryption in transit and restricted access to our systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
How long we keep it
We keep personal information for as long as we need it for the purposes described in this policy, including to meet our tax, accounting and other legal obligations. When we no longer need it, we take reasonable steps to destroy or de-identify it.
Children
Our products and site are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Your rights and choices
You can ask us to access the personal information we hold about you, or to correct it if it is wrong or out of date. You can unsubscribe from marketing at any time. You can ask us to delete your information, subject to any records we are required to keep.
To make a request, email hello@ukinahealth.com. We will respond within a reasonable period. If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your personal information or your complaint, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
